Schuls goes for 22 as Florence routs

THREE LAKES, Wis. — Florence led by double digits at halftime and defeated Northern Lakes Conference foe Three Lakes 64-33 on Friday night.

Kaden Schuls led all scorers with 22 points for the Bobcats.

“I thought tonight we played tough as a team. Our defense was solid, our bench gave us great minutes and it was a fun night,” said Florence head coach Bryan Bomberg.

The Bobcats, who led 32-16 at halftime, had Riley Hixon chip in 12 points, while Preston Stoltz and Patrick Milan each snared 10 rebounds. Sam Eppler led TL with 15 points on the evening.

“I am proud of our guys, we seem to be making smarter decisions with the ball. We still have things to fix, but we’re getting there. Trusting the process as we say will go along way,” Bomberg said.

Florence (7-2, 4-2) returns home to host Phelps in NLC action on Tuesday night. The Bobcats travel to Norway for a non-conference game on Thursday night.
