Florence rolls at Tomahawk
LadyCats 47 Hatchets 29
TOMAHAWK, Wis — Jenna Springer canned 18 points and Kathleen Seldon chipped in 10 as the Florence LadyCats defeated Tomahawk 47-29 here Friday night in non-conference girls basketball action.
Lacey Enders snared a team high 13 rebounds for the LadyCats, who improve to 10-10 on the season.
“We came off the bus a little flat after a long ride,” said Florence head coach Brad Perry.
“Tomahawk is very aggressive and we weren’t physical enough in the first half.”
“In the second half, we did a better job of running our offense and being patient. We were also more physical in the second half,” Perry said.
Florence has a quick turnaround, as they travel to Forest Park on Monday to face the Lady Trojans in non-conference action. The LadyCats close out their regular season and Northern Lakes Conference schedules Thursday at Three Lakes.
Tomahawk won the JV game 24-20.
