FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence’s Kaden Schuls has been selected to play in the 8-Man WFCA Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin All-Star Charity football game this July.

Schuls, a senior, led the Bobcats offense at running back with 1,203 rushing yards and their defense with eight interceptions from his safety position. Florence finished with an 8-3 record, reaching a Level 2 playoff game.

Schuls was a first team MONLPC All-Conference selection at running back and kicker and second team defensive back.

Florence coach Kent Walstrom noted Schuls was a great selection to play in the All-Star game.

“(I am) Really proud of Kaden, and this is a fitting honor he very much deserved,” Walstrom said.

“He’s as competitive, productive, and talented as any player we’ve had in our program in recent years, and he’ll be an asset to the North team at whatever position they decide to play him.”

Schuls joins former Bobcats Eric DeCremer and Joe Walstrom as 8-Man state all-star selections from the previous season.
