Spring Classic cancelled
NORWAY — Due to precautionary measures for the outbreak of COVID-19, the annual Norway Spring Classic scheduled for April 25 has been canceled.
“Reluctantly, I feel it’s best to cancel this year’s race,” said race director Tony Adams. “The health and safety of the runners and spectators must be our first concern.”
Adams noted that Norway High School being closed until at least April 14 was also a factor.
The annual event draws hundreds of participants and fans to Norway each spring.
