LANSING – Menominee junior Emma Anderson was named to the Associated Press Division 2 all-state first team Wednesday evening.

Other U.P. selections included Escanaba’s Nicole Kamin on the second team along with Gladstone’s Megan Crow and Sault Ste. Marie’s Julia Beaumony, who both made honorable mention.

Detroit Edison’s Gabrielle Elliott was the Player of the Year in Division 2. Committed to play at Clemson, Elliott was also named the state’s Miss Basketball winner last month.
