Curtis commits to play at Dawson
KINGSFORD — Kingsford High School’s Emily Curtis has committed to play fast-pitch softball at Dawson Community College. During her three years as the starting third baseman, she batted .500 and knocked in 120 RBI.
For the 2019 season, Curtis had a 97 percent fielding average. She was an all-conference selection in the Great Northern Conference, first-team selection on the all-district, and all-region teams at third base.
Dawson Community College is in Glendive, Montana, and was ranked No. 21 in the nation for NJCAA Div II before COVID- 19 ended the season.
