CRYSTAL FALLS — Forest Park senior Evan Hedtke has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the college level. Hedtke inked his intention on April 12 to play at Division III University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Hedtke, a four-year starter for the Trojans, was an 8-player All-UP Dream Team selection at punter and defensive end in 2019. Also in 2019, he was a Great Lakes Eight all-conference selection at offensive line, defensive end and kicker/punter.

Hedtke was also chosen to play in the U.P. all-star game scheduled for the summer.

In 2018, he was a Great Lakes Eight all-conference selection and All-UP selection at linebacker.

“Evan has been a four- year starter for us and you will not find a better role model, team player, and harder worker than Evan,” said Forest Park head coach David Graff. “I wish him all the success in the world as he begins his career down at UW- Oshkosh.”

Hedtke also started as goalie for the Kingsford Flivvers hockey team, playing hockey for three years in high school. He also was a member of the Trojans’ golf team.

Hedtke also was in the National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America for three years and the Youth Advisory Committee for one year.
