M&O Conference sets spectator guidelines for fall sports season

PESHTIGO, Wis. — The Marinette-Oconto Conference announces fall sports guidelines to provide a safe environment for the student athletes, coaches, officials and spectator attendance due to the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Spectators that are allowed to attend events should practice social distancing between different household units and accept personal responsibility for public health guidelines.

Due to COVID-19 the number of spectators that will be allowed to attend M&O Conference football games and volleyball matches this fall will be limited. The plan is to allow two spectators per athlete for volleyball and four spectators per athlete for football games.

Each athlete will be given a season spectator pass in accordance with their sport. The season pass is the only access for spectators at a football game or volleyball match.

The conference schools that have online streaming will be also offering coverage of their games to accommodate viewing by those that are unable to attend the contest.
