Mountaineers fall to Miners, 8-0
NEGAUNEE — Iron Mountain fell to Negaunee 8-0 on Thursday in a Mid-Peninsula/West PAC girls tennis match.
“As long as every player gives their maximum effort, there is no shame in losing to a team of Negaunee’s caliber,” said Iron Mountain coach Marcus Celello. “I can say without a doubt that all of our girls left everything they had on the court. We all need to trust the process and understand that each day is a step toward reaching our end goal, which is competing and winning in the postseason.”
