Nordics edged by Stephenson, 3-2

STEPHENSON — In Skyline Central Conference volleyball Tuesday night, North Dickinson traveled to Stephenson, and was defeated by the host Eagles 3-2 (23-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 15-10).

“Tonight was a very scrappy game, very back and forth. Both teams capitalized on each others mistakes,” said North Dickinson coach Taylor Johnson. “Stephenson played very driven throughout the match.”

Johnson noted that the Nordics played fairly well defensively. Ashton Hord led the team 36 digs, followed by Chrislyn Inglese with 19 digs.

Johnson also noted that the middle blockers played well for ND as well. Micah Lindholm with led with nine blocks, while Kassandra Cary had eight blocks and 15 kills. Isabella Reimer registered 100 % serving for North Dickinson.

ND returns home to the Carl F. Lemin Jr. Gymnasium to take on Superior Central on Thursday night, in another Skyline Central match.
