KINGSFORD — Two Kingsford football players recently were selected to the Division 5 All- Region team by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.

Junior wide receiver Zach Person and fellow junior offensive lineman Lucas Tappy were the Flivvers selected to the all region team.

Person averaged 14.4 yards per catch on the season, with five touchdowns. He was also selected to the Great Northern Conference all-conference team at the same position.

Tappy, also an all GNC first team selection, was a two-way starter for the Flivvers in 2020, in his second year as varsity player.
