Lady Badgers fall to Cougars

NIAGARA, Wis. — In their first home game of the season, Niagara hosted Marinette-Oconto Conference foe Coleman in girls basketball action Tuesday night, falling 58-45.

Niagara (1-1) was led in scoring by sophomore Josie Rock, whose 15 points led all scorers.

Senior Alyssa Cretton chipped in 13 for Niagara in the loss.

Hailey Ziemer and Aubrey Bintz combined for 23 points for Coleman in the win.

Niagara travels to M&O foe Crivitz on Friday night, before returning home to host Gillett on Monday night.
