LAONA, Wis. — Despite both teams having two players score in double figures, Laona-Wabeno cruised past Niagara 60-35 in non-conference girls basketball action Monday night at Laona High School.

Alyssa Cretton led the Lady Badgers, now 2-3 on the season, with 21 points.

Kylie Higgins of Laona-Wabeno led all scorers with 22 points.

Sophomore Josie Rock added 10 points for Niagara in the loss; the Badgers have a quick turnaround, as they host Marinette-Oconto Conference foe Lena tonight.

Laona-Wabeno also won the JV contest.
