Norway boys slam Rockets

NORWAY — With three players in double figures, led by Logan Parolini with 13 points, Norway cruised past Rapid River 51-37 in Skyline Central Conference action here Thursday night.

Nolan Amundson netted 12 points, and Zach Seat chipped in 11 points for the Knights, who improve to 7-2 (7-1 SCC) on the season.

“I thought our help side defense was pretty good for the most part tonight. Zach (Seat) and Nolan (Amundson) had really nice games for us,” said Norway head coach Jeff Gallino. “We are starting develop some good team chemistry. Hopefully we can keep it rolling next week.”

Mason Kudlick led all scorers with 15 points for Rapid River.

The Knights remain home as they host SCC foe Munising on Tuesday, before traveling to Rapid River on Thursday, for a rematch with the Rockets. Munising is the No. 4 ranked team in Division 4 of this week’s U.P.S.S.A U.P. basketball poll.

Norway won the JV game 65-38.
