Mountaineers advance to boys basketball regional final
GLADSTONE — Iron Mountain defeated Painesdale Jeffers 71-50 in an MHSAA regional semifinal game Tuesday.
The Mountaineers will face Oscoda for the regional championship Thursday in Sault Ste. Marie.
In other regional semifinals, Escanaba defeated Boyne City 59-56 in Division 2; Marquette downed Midland 54-48 in Division 1; and Carney-Nadeau ousted Rapid River 49-38 in Division 4. For more, please see Wednesday’s Daily News.
