CRYSTAL FALLS -- Justin Nelson for West Iron and Keall Emmers for Forest Park each netted 21 points, but it was the visiting Wykons who came away with a 42-33 win Friday night at the Eddie Chambers Memorial Gymnasium.
Nathan Thomson chipped in 14 points for the Wykons, who improved to 6-6 on the season.
"Keall (Emmers) played good and it was good to see him hit some shots, but we didn't give him much help offensively," said Forest Park head coach Kurt Lehmann. "(Tommy) Showers played strong inside defensively, and we had some younger guys get some good experience. Hopefully we can build some momentum these next couple weeks and be ready for districts."
The Trojans fell to 2-6 with the loss. FP travels to undefeated Bark River-Harris on Tuesday, before traveling to Carney-Nadeau on Friday, with both games being Skyline Central Conference matchups.
The Wykons return to home for the next four games beginning with West PAC Conference foes Westwood on Monday, and Hancock on Tuesday.
