FLORENCE, Wis. — Sophomore Evan Johnson hit his second inside-the-park home run of the season and the Bobcats amassed five more extra-base hits, overtaking White Lake 14-6 in six innings of Northern Lakes Conference baseball.

Cole Sweig, Logan Schuls and Will Kelley each hit a triple, while Bryce Leffler and Cody Reubens each ripped a double.

Kelley and Reubens pitched for the Bobcats, combining to allow seven hits and seven walks, while fanning three.

Florence, who remains undefeated, will host NLC foe Laona-Wabeno today.

“Hopefully, we’ll be ready for the challenge of a tough conference game. Laona is usually one of the top teams in our conference,” said Bobcats head coach Dave LaPoint.
