Cram paces Flivvers past Maroons

KINGSFORD — Catcher Delaney Cram drove in 10 runs, five in each game, as Kingsford swept a Great Northern Conference doubleheader, 16-1 in four innings, and 13-3 over Menominee, on Monday at Lodal Park in Kingsford.
Elaina Bortolini pitched game one for the Flivvers. She fanned three, and allowed two hits and one run. In the second game, Holly Richer toed the mound, also fanning three Menominee hitters and allowing only two hits.
In game 1, Zoie Geronimi and Allie LaVarnway each drove in three runs, while seniors Teagan Petschar and Kylie Mitchell each drove in two. Bortolini recorded 4 RBI’s in game two.
Kingsford remains home, as they will welcome Twin City rival Iron Mountain on Thursday for a non-conference doubleheader.
