Markells team up at Norway for Lambert Memorial title

NORWAY -- Jim Markell and Nick Markell rallied past Jon Ellis and Randy Ellis to capture the Paul Lambert Memorial Golf Tournament at Oak Crest Golf Course on Sunday.

Trailing by a stroke entering Sunday's round, the Markell duo finished 16 under par for a one-stroke victory.

Finishing in a tie for third in the championship flight were Kyle Monroe/Scott Prunick and Ryan Pepin/Tony Ward, who came in at 12 under.

The tournament drew 126 teams, competing in 15 flights in a best ball/scramble format.
