Florence-Niagara athletes in WIAA Sectional

Cretton was crowned sectional champion after clearing 5 feet 2 inches to advance to the WIAA state championships at UW-LaCrosse on Thursday.

Florence junior Audrey Selden (4), center, races toward the finish line after clearing the last barrier in the 100 meter hurdles finals in Thursday’s WIAA Division 3 track and field sectionals at Rosholt High School. Selden finished second with a time of 15.48, breaking the Florence High School record she set in 2019 as a freshman. Selden will compete in the WIAA state championships at UW-LaCrosse on Thursday.
