Norway’s 9-10 year-old Little League All-Stars hold up the District 10 championship trophy after defeating Kingsford in the title game at Marion Park’s Brackett Field on July 16. Norway will begin the pool play portion of the Michigan 9-10 state tournament versus Birmingham from District 4 at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Registration for the week-long tournament begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Norway Speedway at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds. An umpires and coaches meeting at 4 p.m. as well as the team parade at 5 p.m. will be held at the speedway. From 6 to 9 p.m. there will be a picnic style meal for the players and coaches, as well as opening ceremonies and skills games for the players, all held at Marion Park.
