KINGSFORD -- Michael Meneguzzo threw for three touchdowns in the first quarter as Kingsford breezed past Green Bay East 45-6 in the Flivvers' non-conference season opener Friday.
Kingsford led 45-0 at halftime to set off a running clock.
Nic Nora raced for two long scores, hauling in a 79-reception and notching a 75-yard punt return. Meneguzzo's other TD passes went to Brody Kopp, 27 yards, and Zach Person, 13 yards.
Kingsford's Diego Przeslakowski kicked a 35-yard field goal and was six-for-six on extra points. He also scored on a 33-yard run. Toby Wilcox, who led the Flivvers with 97 yards rushing, scored on a 2-yard plunge.
Green Bay East (0-2) found the end zone in the waning seconds on a 12-yard pass from Oliver Killian to Henry Byler.
Kingsford (1-0), coached by Mark Novara, has a Great Northern Conference game Friday, hosting Gladstone.
