IRON MOUNTAIN — Niagara junior volleyball player Morgan Borchardt was recently named the 2021 Marinette & Oconto Conference Player of the Year, as selected by the conference coaches.

Borchardt was also selected to the conference first team, and was joined by Lady Badgers teammate, senior Bailey Pearson, for the conference champion Badgers.

Other Niagara players who were all-conference selections in the M&O included junior libero Abigail Wells and freshman Mallory Sanicki, both second team selections.

Naomi Anker of Gillett was named as the Defensive Specialist of the Year by the M&O coaches.
