Racers compete in Dells series
WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — Several local drivers competed in the 300 Lap Impact Survival Series Enduro Race held at Dells Raceway Park on Oct. 1.
The race was won by Karl Genett from Rangeline, Wis.
But, Norway’s Isaac Bray had his own victory, recording his personal-best finish in the travelling series. Bray finished third and completed 299 of the 300 laps.
Faithorn’s Elliott Reid also had a strong run, finishing fourth and completing 296 laps.
Other local drivers included Kingsford’s Zach Hanson (14th, 287 laps), Kingsford’s Ryan Oakler (38th, 184 laps), Niagara’s Cole Brown (47th, 110 laps) and Iron Mountain’s Ethan Schahczinski (52nd, 103 laps).
A total of 70 cars took the green.
The next ISS race will be in Wausau, Wisconsin, at State Park Speedway on Oct. 29 in the 300 Lap Creepy Classic.
