IRON MOUNTAIN -- The DAHA Iron Kings 14U hockey team will be facing off against the 14U IAHA Ice Hawks in a special exhibition fundraiser in the fight against cancer on Saturday, Oct 29.
The event will be held at Mountain View Ice Arena on East Hughitt Street in Iron Mountain.
The Iron Kings will be fundraising for the Dickinson County Cancer Loan Closet and the Ice Hawks are putting their support behind the Iron County Cancer Unit.
Donations will be taken at the door, along with a heart wall for remembrance and honor of those battling cancer, with proceeds from the event split between Dickinson and Iron counties.
The Dickinson Amateur Hockey Association is donating all proceeds from the concession stand from the event.
There will also be 50/50, raffle baskets and sucker pull. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the opening puck will drop slated for 6 p.m.
