WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — Isabella Millan recorded 23 points, seven steals and six rebounds and Victoria Peterson added 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead Florence to a 52-46 victory over Wausaukee in the Ladycats’ 2022 season opener on Tuesday in Wausaukee.

Coach Brad Perry’s squad also received contributions from Leah Young (11 points, including three 3-pointers), Morgan Tomczak (seven rebounds) and Kamdan Johnson (7 rebounds, 6 assists).

The Ladycats, who led 23-20 at halftime, outrebounded the Rangers 32-13 and also recorded 18 steals in their victory.

Florence travels to rival Niagara on Friday.
