KINGSFORD — The Kingsford High School varsity hockey team will host a veterans appreciation night at their home opening game at 6 p.m. Thursday at Mountain View Ice Arena in Iron Mountain.

Veterans will receive free admission to the game and concessions sponsored by Trident Maritime Systems- Heavy Equipment Group.

Special VIP parking and seating will also be available. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue. The Flivvers will be facing off against the Manistique Emeralds.
