IRON RIVER — Mike Berutti, head football coach at West Iron High School, will be inducted into the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Friday, June 20.

The ceremony and banquet will take place at the Westin Southfield Detroit in Southfield. Ticket information is available at https://www.mhsfca.com/.

Berutti has been head coach at West Iron for 26 years, serving as principal for the middle school and high school since 2000.

His teams have averaged more than seven wins a season, including a 10-2 overall record in 2008, a 9-2 overall record in 2011, a 10-1 overall record in 2013, an 8-2 overall record in 2014, a 12-1 overall record in 2017, and a 7-1 overall record in 2020.
