IRON MOUNTAIN — A bocce tournament Saturday at City Park’s Ray Mariucci Bocce Courts drew 19 competitors, with Joey Fittante taking top honors.

Mike Constantini placed second and John Honzik finished third in the summer season’s first tournament.

Dave Antonetti handled scorekeeping duties and Dickinson Area Bocce Association members prepared the grounds and served lunch.

The club will next host the U.P. Open at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, July 12, coordinated by Dennis Bilski. A signup sheet for this three-person team tournament is available at the clubhouse or call Sheldon at 623-546-1295.
