OSHKOSH, Wis. — Florence High School football standouts Breyson Kelley and Logan Koski suited up for the North in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association 8-Player All-Star game.

The North prevailed 53-32 in the July 18 contest at Titan Stadium at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

WFCA All-Star games serve as a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. This year’s coaches and players raised more than $350,000.

Coaches selected seniors from across the state to participate. Kelley and Koski were chosen as defensive players, although Kelley was moved to center during the week-long team practice camp held at UW-Stevens Point. Kelley also took over kickoff duties for the North.

The teams combined for 1,037 yards of offense and neither punted, as it was back-and-forth action all day.

Jared Schultz of Northwood/Solon Springs ran for 215 yards and three scores and threw for 96 yards and two touchdowns to lead the North offense.

Koski was credited with a quarterback hit for the North defense.

Starting at $3.50/week.
