Niagara goes 2-2 in volleyball opener

Missing some players, Niagara tried different lineups and posted a 2-2 record at the Crivitz Invitational volleyball tournament on Tuesday.

“I’m excited about the potential this team has,” said coach Maryellen Allred. “There is promising strength in our defense and some major offensive threats. We just have to gel it all together.”

The Badgers got wins against Goodman/Pembine (25-17, 25-7) and Green Bay Southwest (23-25, 25-23, 15-11).

Marinette got by the Badgers (25-23, 18-25, 15-11) while Peshtigo prevailed by twin 25-17 scores.
