STEPHENSON – The Kingsford girls cross country team finished runner-up, and the Flivver boys took third in the 17-team Stephenson Invitational on Wednesday.

“An extremely hot and very miserable day of running didn’t slow down our Flivvers,” coach Sarah Noasconi said. “(It was) another successful Flivver run.”

For the Flivver girls, Maria Murvich was the champion of the event, while Olivia Wescott placed 10th and Aalayah Noasconi wound up 19th.

Cavan Mulligan led the Kingsford boys with a second-place result.
