Knights tennis keeps rolling with a sweep against Gwinn

GWINN – The Norway Knights kept their impressive season going Tuesday when they traveled to Gwinn and swept the Modeltowners 8-0.

The Knights captured all four singles matches and won the four doubles matches by forfeit.

“I’m proud of how our girls handled themselves,” Norway coach Cassandra Gustafson said. “They played with respect and sportsmanship against a less experienced team.”

Jordyn Moln won the No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-2, while Ella Wojtovich won all 12 games at the second singles flight.

Tori Trudeau rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 3 singles and Jessica Rossler swept the four singles match 6-0, 6-0.

No Gwinn names were reported.
