Florence is the No. 2 seed and Niagara is the No. 3 seed in an 11-team sectional tournament in Division 5 as the WIAA postseason volleyball tournament gets underway next week.

Both the LadyCats and Badgers will have byes in the first round.

On Thursday, Florence will host the winner of No. 7 Phelps vs. No. 10 White Lake. Also on Thursday, Niagara will host the winner of No. 11 Goodman-Pembine vs. No. 6 Gillett.

If both Florence and Niagara should win, they’ll square off on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Elsewhere in the bracket, Suring is the No. 1 seed and Elcho is the No. 4 seed.

In M&O Conference action at Wausaukee on Thursday, Niagara swept Wausaukee 25-13, 25-23, 25-19 but got swept by Crivitz 11-25, 16-25, 12-25.

Crivitz will play in Division 4 in the WIAA tournament as a No. 3 seed.
