Forest Park traveled west to face West Iron County on Tuesday, posting a 3-0 volleyball sweep to improve to 35-1 on the season.
The match scores were 25-20, 25-17, 25-12.
It was a “Pink Out” match for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“Playing at West Iron is always tough, the gym is loud, and the rivalry brings out a passionate and rowdy crowd,” said Trojans coach Bobbie Anderson. “In the first set, they made us fight for every point.”
Forest Park, however, built momentum with each set.

“I thought our setters, Vienna (Price) and Elsie (Williams), did a great job getting to the second ball and making quality sets, even when the passes weren’t ideal,” Anderson said. “Tessa Bartoszek and Ava Fischer led us in kills,” she added. “Ava continues to be a dominant, all-around presence, and it’s been especially exciting to see Tessa really step up and play so well over the last few games.”
Forest Park will host North Dickinson tonight.
