Knights cruise past Badgers for 2nd win

NORWAY – The Norway Knights outscored visiting Niagara by 20 points in the third quarter on their way to a 56-30 triumph Monday night.

Anthony Pineda rang up 13 of his game-high 24 points in the decisive quarter when the Knights (2-2) extended their 24-9 lead to 48-13 heading into the fourth.

Kaleb Lapine posted six points and Elliott Kraemer added five in the third. Kraemer finished with 14 points and Lapine chipped in with 11.

The Badgers totaled 17 points in the fourth quarter, led by Brayden Bartels, who recorded nine of his team-best 12.

The Knights host North Central (1-4) on Thursday.
