Kingsford senior Jake Deuter carries the puck into the offensive zone against Escanaba Tuesday evening at Mountain View Ice Arena. Deuter scored Kingsford’s only goal in a 7-1 loss, with an assist from senior captain Will Murvich. The state-ranked Eskymos scored five times in the first period to send the Flivvers to a third straight defeat. In what was a tough night all around for the Flivvers, the team suffered a major blow in the setback with the loss of senior goaltender Nate Scullon to a lower body injury.
