Niagara outscored Suring 5-2 in overtime for a 68-65 M & O Conference boys basketball win Friday.

The road victory lifted the Badgers to 8-6 overall and 6-3 in the conference.

Brayden Bartels scored 19 points to pace Niagara, draining three of the Badgers’ 11 3-pointers. Zane Phillips added 12 points and Christian Anderson scored 11. The Badgers also got eight points each from Reid Schroeder and Wyatt Dunkes.

Noah Wheeler contributed seven points and Owen Dunkes made a free throw to complete the Niagara scoring.

Suring (7-5, 6-3) was led by Parker Haak, 19 points, and Taylor Booth-Stoffregen, 18 points.

Niagara’s overtime scoring came on two free throws by Bartels, a free throw by Wyatt Dunkes and a basket by Wheeler. Niagara was 9 of 16 from the line while the Eagles made just 7 of 16.

For the Badgers, Phillips, Schroeder, Anderson and Wyatt Dunkes all hit two 3-pointers each.

Niagara will host Florence (5-7) in a nonconference game Tuesday.

Vic Giuliani scored 25 points as the Trojans stayed unbeaten in the Skyline Central Conference-Small.

Forest Park (12-3, 5-0) also got 17 points from Dax Huuki and 11 from Izaiah Tarter. Lyle Price added eight points. Eli Brzoznowski netted seven points and Devin Martin contributed four.

Forest Park travels to North Dickinson (13-1, 4-1) for a key conference matchup tonight.

North Central (5-9, 3-2) hosts Hannahville Nah Tah Wahsh (5-9) tonight.
