Bobcats reach .500 mark
Florence evened its boys basketball record at 11-11 heading into the postseason, posting a 70-66 win Thursday at Green Bay Providence Academy.
“Providence is a solid, solid team,” said Florence coach Bryan Bomberg. “This was one of those wins we needed heading into the playoffs.”
Bradly Steber led the Bobcats with 20 points and Truth Setner added 14.
Florence led 37-26 at halftime.
“It got a little hairy down the stretch but we pulled it out,” Bomberg said.

Providence’s Isaiah Faulkner scored 39 points.
