HERMANSVILLE — Things are shaping up for another successful tournament, as the entry deadline approaches for the 87th Gold Medal Classic independent basketball tournament. The 2026 edition of the historic 10 day tournament will be held March 12-22 at the Frank Rodman Community Club in Hermansville.

The entry deadline is March 6, with three of the adult classes already at maximum capacity, according to tournament director Bryan Maule. Class A, B and the Women’s Division, all double-elimination format, have eight teams entered.

The Junior High Boys and Girls divisions are also at full capacity and are round robin format. Class B and the Junior High Divisions will be held March 14 and 15.

Class A and the Women’s Division competition will be held March 21 and 22.

Entries for Class’s C, D, E, EE and the newly formed Alumni Division are still being taken until March 6. For more information or to enter a team, contact Maule at 906-295-0153.
