Kingsford will send four wrestlers to Boyne City this weekend for the Division 3 regional tournament.
Tyler Bray at 157 pounds, Max Sundquist at 175 pounds and Connor White at 285 pounds all took home district titles Saturday at Grayling. Jake Sundquist punched his ticket to regionals as well with a fourth-place finish at 175 pounds.
“Tyler made the drop to 157 and he looks strong at that weight,” said Kingsford coach Darren Groleau. “Max had another dominant performance to win another district title. Connor White had a great day winning the championship in double overtime. He’s really coming into his own this year.”
Max Sundquist took third place in the 175-pound bracket at the 2025 state finals.
Also competing Saturday for the Flivvers were Kaleb Warner, Zahir Topping, Parker Rossato, Mason Ivacko and Jake Lockhart.
“All had a great season,” Groleau said “They all improved and have gotten better this year. Proud of them,” he said.
