Wonders honored for Senior Day

CLEVELAND – Cleveland State (10-19, 6-12 Horizon League) fell to Purdue Fort Wayne (16-13, 10-8 Horizon League), 92-86, on Sunday at the Wolstein Center.

Six Cleveland State seniors, including Foster Wonders of Iron Mountain, were honored before the game for Senior Day. Wonders scored three points and had two steals in 21 minutes of action. For the season, Wonders has averaged 5.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Junior guard Chevalier Emery of Appleton, Wis., led the Vikings with 21 points against Purdue Fort Wayne.

Cleveland State will wrap up the home regular season portion of its schedule on Wednesday, hosting Northern Kentucky. The Vikings travel to Robert Morris on Saturday.

The Horizon League tournament opens Monday.
