Florence defeated Lena 50-48 on Thursday, advancing to a WIAA girls basketball matchup against Pacelli on Saturday in Pulaski.

Saturday’s sectional championship game will decide a berth in the state tournament that tips off Friday, March 13, in Green Bay.

Florence improved to 23-4 overall while Lena ends its season at 23-4.

Pacelli (22-4) advanced to the final with 74-51 win Thursday over Almond-Bancroft (22-5).

A time for Saturday’s game will be announced.
