HERMANSVILLE — The Gold Medal Classic basketball tournament will recognize its newest Hall of Fame members at 2 p.m. today at the Frank Rodman Community Club.

Inductees are Kurt Ekberg of Powers, Tom Granquist of Powers, Lee Vincent of Powers and Michelle (Charlier) Bal of Carney/Norway. Posthumous inductees are Dage Murray of Powers and Brian Lindeman of Channing and the McNeil Oilers of Crystal Falls.

Thursday’s results:

Class D: Morning Ballers, Gladstone 69, “CTR 44” Hermansville 61

Trent Keteri scored 21 for the Morning Ballers.

Class EE: Shelby’s Quick Mart, Carney 55, Wendricks Truss, Hermansville 40

Reece Kangas had a game-high 19 for Wendricks. Cody Gholdi netted 18 for Shelby’s.

Class C: Lee’s Greenery, Powers 83, Kakuk, Daggett 64.

Jake Poetzle scored a game-high 28 for Kakuk. Marquette High School senior Ford Richardson had27 for Lee’s.

Class E: Got Milk, Daggett 72, Swish, Carney 59.
