Iron Mountain posted a home victory Monday and will move on to an MHSAA girls district semifinal tonight.

The Mountaineers (4-18) prevailed 48-41 over Manistique (2-19) in their Division 3 opener. Iron Mountain will travel to Menominee (15-6) tonight.

In Division 2, Kingsford (15-5) will host Gladstone (18-4) tonight in a semifinal in District 33.
