IM hosts Richard Olds tournament

IRON MOUNTAIN — The 5th annual Richard Olds Roundball Classic crowned champions in three divisions in games played at Iron Mountain High School.

The tournament raises funds for the Richard Olds Basketball Dedication Scholarship, which is awarded to four-year players who maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and will be attending a two- or four-year college or university.

Arms of Angels from De Pere, Wis., earned the Class A championship while Dave’s Auto of Iron Mountain won Class B.

Earning the Class C title was Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group-Natalia Brown/Edelweiss of Iron Mountain. The team included players from Iron Mountain, Negaunee and Norway.

“A huge thank you to our sponsors, players, and volunteers. Your support, teamwork, and dedication truly made it a success,” organizers said.
