Lady Badgers earn all-conference honors

Niagara junior Sydney Swanson was named to the M&O Conference’s first team in girls basketball as Crivitz’s Kiya Brand and Coleman’s Ava Kuchta collected top individual honors
Conference coaches chose Brand as the M&O’s Most Outstanding Player and Kuchta as the league’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
Niagara senior Alivia Kleikamp was named to the All-Conference second team while Niagara junior Bristol Sanicki earned honorable mention.
Swanson and Kleikamp were double-digit scorers for the Lady Badgers, with Swanson averaging 11.7 points per game and Kleikamp averaging 11.
Lena freshman Ella Thomson, Suring sophomore Paige Pommerich and Gillett junior Maggie Kaczmarek joined Brand and Swanson on the M&O first team.
Vivian Kostreva, a Coleman senior; Maril Meyers, a Crivitz sophomore; Alisa Finger, a Lena freshman; and Gracie Christensen, a Suring sophomore, were the rest of the second team selections.
Crivitz won the conference title with a 15-1 record.
