Menominee earned a trip to the MHSAA Division 3 boys basketball state tournament with a 64-42 win over Beal City on Tuesday.

Senior forward Tanner Theuerkauf quarterbacked Menominee’s Division 7 football championship team and has averaged nearly 18 points per game this season.

The Maroons (23-4) will face Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac (18-3) at noon Eastern time today at the MSU Breslin Center in East Lansing.

Menominee split with Division 2 Kingsford during the regular season in the Great Northern Conference.
