Niagara’s Bartels named first team all-conference

Niagara senior Brayden Bartels earned a spot on the M&O Conference boys basketball first team as Crivitz senior Kade Thoma was selected as the conference’s Most Outstanding Player.

Joining Bartels and Thoma on the first team were Coleman junior Kolton Peters, Suring senior Parker Haak and St. Thomas Aquinas junior Jake Farley.

Niagara sophomore Zane Phillips received honorable mention.

Colton Arpke of Crivitz was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Wausaukee senior Gavin Thomson was joined on the second team by Crivitz senior Pierce Polomis, Suring junior Taylor Booth Stoffregen and Oneida Nation’s Davian Gutierrez, a senior, and Mason Laster, a junior.

Crivitz won the conference with a 16-0 record. The Badgers finished 9-7 in the conference.
