MANISTIQUE — The Negaunee girls basketball team finished its season at 23-2 after falling to Petoskey on Monday in a regional semifinal at Manistique.

Negaunee was giving up only 30.9 points per game this season but the loss to Petoskey (21-3) came by a score of 49-42. Negaunee’s only previous loss was a 51-39 decision at Ishpeming on Feb. 6.
